The ABWA – Rochester Charter Chapter is a Friends Level Sponsor of this event, put on by the United Way.

Power of the Purse is a community fundraising event presented by United Way of Olmsted County’s Women United – a giving circle of women leadership contributors whose collective, caring power is building a healthier, stronger community.

Our chapter receives two tickets to the event. In the past, we’ve reserved the other 6 seats at the table. The 8 members that sit at the table share a discounted price on the tickets since ABWA sponsors $350 of. Tickets are normally $50/seat but with our sponsorship we only have to pay for 6 seats or $300; therefore, the seats will run $37.50 each. This event is nearly sold out already. If we have more than 8 people that want to purchase a ticket for these seats, we will draw names. If you’ve not attended in the past, this is a “do not want to miss” event. Again, there will be an event for this, as well, but please advise if you wish to be considered for one of the 8 tickets.
